Lowe's Credit Card

Good morning all,

I eventually want to open a Lowe's credit card to complete some home repairs. Can anyone tell me which bank the Lowe's card is through? Also can anyone provide data points? I am in the credit rebuild phase with scores in the low 600s. I was recently approved for a Cap 1 Plat (SL $3000) and was pre-approved and accepted an in-store offer for an Express card (SL $500). The Express card has not posted to my CRs yet but when the Cap 1 did, I received a 24-29 pt. increase on my CRs.

Good Morning. I app for LOWES earlier this month. They pulled my TU report with a score of 724 at the time with 22inq. I was approved with a disappointing but accepted SL of 2k. Hope this helps.....good luck...let us know how it goes for you...

@Anonymous for the info @Anonymous! My scores are much lower than yours so hopefully with time I can get in the mid 600s and give them a try. I'm a little confused by their program so maybe you can shed light on this as well. I want to do a home project with replacing the carpet in my home. I know that they have credit cards but they also seem to have some kind of program where you can pay monthly at varying interest rates for a specific project. Is this the same as the CC or is that something different? I hope my question is clear and I explained it accurately.

Yes they have offers like 5% off total purchase or 0% interest for 6months...go to the site and you can see what offers they have. I believe the offers are available when you make the purchase using your Lowes credit card. I hope I answered it clearly..lol...

Lowes is Synchrony Bank , when I apped I was at 650 and was approved for 800 SL. Hope this helps

@Anonymous @Aduck1122! Thank you for the response. Can I ask how your CL has grown since opening the account? I'm worried that such a low amount would hardly pay for what I need so I'm wondering how giving they are with CLI and how soon.

I was approved for Lowes 2 years ago with scores between 650-660. They pulled EX for me. My starting limit was $500. Within a year I was up to $15k. I have not asked for anymore increases in a year as my TU score had not reached the 700-720 range; also, I don't have any major home improvement needs, so I just buy something every couple of months.

They are offering their extended financing options now thru 5-31.

I took them up on it lol....bought some new goodies for my house.

I was approved for a disappointing 1k CL.

2 weeks or so after receiving the card, I asked for 10k and it was granted.

I apped the beginning of March. They pulled TU. My TU varies between 702 and 722. It's currently at 702 (had a 10 point drop when 2 inquires hit). I think it was 712 when I apped.

i started with a measly $300 limit 2 years back waiting like 6 months when to chat asked for 10K got 5K.
