Blispay denied again!

Just got approved for the CSP with a 5k limit, and my Experian is sitting in the 720s, so I thought I'd retry Blispay. I login and they ask 5 questions, only three of which apply to me, and then ask for my bank information. I hit no on that part, and it asked me to call in. I call in and she takes my social and name. Then lets me know it has been denied for not being able to verify my identity, AGAIN. This is the second time Blispay has denied me due to verification issues. No other company has ever had a single issue with verifying who I was... I've been at the same address for over 10 years and no other information has changed. I'm just going to assume once you're denied by Blispay you'll never get their card, as their CSRs are basically useless and only ask you to call in to tell you you're denied. They won't even ask you to verify over the phone. This ends my attempts with Blispay and hopefully someone has some advice for others in the future.

There are 2 many posts on Blispay for denying for this reason people need to quit wasting there time with them.

I just wanted a card with 2% and 6 months no interest all in one, as I'm sure many do. I am not aware of another card that has both options, but I guess I'll just settle with my Chase rotating catergories, and 1.5 from QS or CFU. I'm not sure if there is another VISA/MC that has 6 months financing though that I can use anywhere.

I'm going to bet $100,000 on this post that you haven't once pulled your identity reports from LN or any of the other companies, so you probably have no idea what information is on there.

I always get these personal questions answered 100% because I pull my annual identity reports (for free) and know exactly what old information is used to try to identify me. The only times I've failed the questions is when they ask about family members.

Just because it isn't on your 3 major CRA reports doesn't mean it isn't out there for creditors to look up.

However, if there were problems with the identity information that severe on the reports, wouldn't that also have caused problems with verifying identity with other CC issuers (and other entities that require ID verification)?

It seems to me that the issue is fundamentally on Blispay's end. We've had reports that people have had to go all the way to their CEO to get this resolved.

Personally if I was denied for credit for identity reasons I wouldn't bother with the EO, I would call and request a letter explaining what report they pulled for the AA.

If they refuse to disclose, I would send an ITS to their legal department giving them 5 business days to immediately send me the AA letter disclosing which report they used, and if they refused, I'd just sue them in local court and collect my nice little cash freebie.

I don't bother with EO over a decline, I just demand the law be followed. And if they pulled some trickery and said they used a report that didn't contain that information, I'd send the ITS letter anyway.

I always take a screen shot of these identity questions because I am just biding my time waiting for those lawsuits to be filed against some creditor who declines me for identity reasons. Since I've never failed those tests, I have had no luck in collecting free money in the local courts, lol.

Well I've never had an issue with verifcation before, so I didn't think I'd need to get a report of my identity. I get my reports from annualcreditreports and there was never an issue on those that I did not recognize. I have also gotten a report from LN, but it was for my car insurance. I don't think I'll sue them, but instead I'd rather just give my business to the banks that like me. The verifcation questions were just bad because they asked if I opened a mortage in 2014, which I have never seen on other verifcation prompts. Regardless thank you for the help, and I'll just do business with banks who want to do business with me. Another day... Another lost hard pull to Blispay.

I have tried three different times since their inception, so three hard pulls that were basically worthless, and still they cannot verify my identity. Even faxed in my DL and copy of utility bill once, no reply at all. Seems amazing with all the other banks I deal with never have this issue. Been at same address and all other info same for years. Not worth the trouble to go any further and consider the card as a write off in my book.

And yep, I pull my 3 CRs twice per year, as well as Lexis Nexis and Innovis

That's pretty outrageous; I wonder if they'd have denied you on the grounds of inability to verify ID even if you sent them a scan of your current passport. I've never heard of any other organization, bank or otherwise, that wouldn't accept a valid, current DL as proof of ID.

They denied me for this last year but approved me the second time around, a week ago.

Honestly I'm steering people away from this card as they are too shaky, and gave me the smallest limit I've ever had on a new card with good credit. Totally makes the 6 month financing useless.

Part of me wonders if verification failure is somewhat a bogus code and that theres something else they dont like to not want to approve you...

Kinda like... not enough exp with current credit limit and discover...

And verification is partly an excuse to try to dig up more info about you to see if they might approve you...

This might have been mentioned before, but do any of you folks getting declined due to ID verification happen to have any secondary bureaus frozen?

I know BBVA/Compass used to deal people grief over verification if ARS and/or Sagestream weren't available (they would also summarily decline apps, requiring the applicant to be persistent to push it through).

I am late to this discussion but I just got denied as well. There was one confusing question that I probably answered incorrectly. Same thing called just to be told I got denied and cannot be verified again. I called LexisNexis, a consumer reporting agency that another bank used for my verification. I wanted them to remove some information that I did not know the answers to. They said they did not have those specific names they were asking me about. They said the companies create the questions and I can request that they remove and change the questions if it does not relate to me and that they should. So I think you may be right, Joltdude since they completely refuse to redo it and say they don't know which question it was that was wrong which sounds off. My credit score is excellent so maybe they think they won't make any money off of me...

I googled this and cannot find any information about an identity report. What is this and how do I look up my identity report?

OP, I'm with you on this and understand your frustration.

This is a Blispay issue. Nothing more, nothing less. People have been reporting this issue on this forum since the summer of 2016. Blispay has done nothing to resolve it on their end, whatever the problem may be. I don't ever hear about failure to verify identity from other lenders... just Blispay. If it was a legit problem with dozens of member's profiles, they'd be seeing failure to verify identity denials from other lenders and that's not the case.

Blispay needs to get their crap together. Nearing 2 years of the same BS of failure to verify identity, small credit limits, inability to obtain CLIs, etc. is going to make them irrelevant sooner rather than later.

I probably only put a few hundred bucks on my Blispay card in 2017 and didn't use their 0% financing even once. That's how useful the card was to me.

Hey guys, so I know some people they say that when it comes to hard inquiries, don't worry about it, it should be less of your worries when it comes to fico score. Others say, get a lot of hard inquiries cause banks think you're greedy which is true. But, the thing is since I've been denied and they said they would remove it by March or April, even if they didn't should I reapply for it? I love the 0% financing, it's very valuable when it comes to me especially the promotions of applying for new credit cards. Thanks!

next time do not skip the bank account log in verification part it is most important verification for this company just provide your bank log in and i am sure you will get approve hopefully
