Which American express card is the easiest?

This December 1st I will have 6 months of established credit and would like to have an American express product or anyone know which card to get when I have 6 months of credit

Lot of people have said that the charge cards are generally easier to get if you're unsure of your chances at a revolver. The underwriting requirements for the charge cards are basically the same so you can pick any one of those. I'd recommend the PRG if you're gonna go that route since they wave the AF for the first year and it actually has better rewards compared to the Green.

I'd say the easiest revolver to get with limited history would be the Gold Delta Amex card but I've seen people who have been able to get the cards they want too. I've also heard that the Starwood Preferred Guest card is similar too in terms of underwriting. I got in with Amex with around 9 months of history but I think it's possible to get in with them even earlier than that. I'd go ahead and try now to see if you can establish your MSD too.

Honestly people say the charge cards are the easiest... aka green, PRG, platinum.. I really don't know if that holds any truth though...

Regarding probably the easiest to get revolvers would be delta then probably the ED card by what I have seen recenty.

Want to get in with amex in the next month or two, but trying to decide between the charge and revolver such as delta or ED.. As stated I don't think personally there is a difference between the charge cards and the two revolvers I mentioned, maybe just slightly. People have been approved with ED with scores in 635ish range same with charge cards. all depends on your file i guess

Thank you so much, so would you say it be easier for me to get any credit cards having 6 months of payment history on my credit one credit card. I heard usually at 6 months that's when you have established credit or a score at least. Which card products would you recommend

I'd still really encourage you to try Amex and if that doesn't work, try again in a couple of months.

You can also try the Discover It card for students (I don't know if you are but if you are that would certainly be a good option IMO and likewise with the BoA cash rewards student version too) if you want a card with a much better rewards structure and with a good prime lender too. I got mine with an instant approval after I generated a FICO score. Only thing I really hate about the card though is that it hasn't really grown at all as my credit has improved but maybe they might like how you're relatively still a newcomer when it comes to credit.

I'd say the Everyday card. I have 4 months of history and have Green, BCE, and Delta with 6k limits. You can see my sig.

I was gonna post the same question you did . A friend of mine has 7 months of perfect history on one card and wants to get Amex and Discover . No collections and no negatives .

EveryDay card, only con is that it has limited product change options thanks to it's rewards type.

Right, you really have to determine your goals. If it really is, as for so many:

1) Get in with Amex

then, if you don't want a charge card, any of the no AF revolvers works (such as BCE,ED,BS, Blue, OBC) You set your MSD data, make a few purchases, and maybe get a CLI.

If it's 1 AND

2) Get some rewards

then all the usual questions appear, such as do you want travel, cash back, where and how much do you spend etc.

If you don't travel, the ED card is pretty useless from the rewards viewpoint, if you do it's a very good choice.

The thing I like most about my ED card is that nice 15 month 0 intro APR and the fact that I got their lowest APR rate after that at 12.99%, which is the lowest out of all the cards I have. It's certainly lower than my two other Amex cards too. I didn't really have any idea before though that MR points are most useful if you're traveling so that's why I got the BCE recently.
