App'd for CapOne Venture on 6/9

Wasn't really in the market for a new card right now, but was pre-qualified for the Venture. Planning on applying for Chase Cards in the fall so thought is might be a good idea to have a better card with a higher limit on my report by then. Highest limit right now is CapOne QS at $4K that was PC'd from a QS1. Was expecting an instant approval since it was pre-qualified, but got the 7-10 day message. Called the status line a few times last week. It said I'll get a letter in 7-10 days....until today. Called today and it transferred me to a human. She asked a few security questions and then said they would go ahead and start processing my application and it would be......7-10 days. I feel like it will be approved but hate waiting. I think I'm going to start telling everyone who asks me for something that it will be 7-10 days.

EQ-705 TU-730 EX-689, Income-$65K, Util-2%, BK7-2010

If approved, what limit might I reasonably expect?

I'm sure you'll be approved... Surprised it wasn't instant unless there's something else negative reporting. I'd say a 10-15k CL.

Nothing negative since the bk. Just asked 3 security questions about addresses I'd been associated with in the past for ID purposes.

Called the status line again this morning for grins. APPROVED! Didn't specify SL so I guess I'll have to wait and see on that.....7-10 days.

You should be able to setup an account online and login to see your CL, I believe. Then when you get your card, link it to that sign on.

I already have an online account for my QS. Should the new card just appear there automatically?

Nah it probably won't appear automatically. I had a qs account and had a qs1 later and had to add it. It might be an option on the full site, or I had a csr add it when I was on the phone for something else. This was like 2 months after opening the second.

I think you need to log into your QS account and then go to *Services* tab and the click on *Link your card accounts*. If your new account isnt listed there then you should be able to download the capital one wallet app and then sign on. Once on there it will give you your new card number. You can then use that number and link your new account. I did that with my Venture card.

Haven't received the card yet, but was finally able to get it to show up in the app. $15K SL!!!
