Navy Federal AR ?

Is anyone aware of any AR inquiries from Navy FCU recently? The last time I saw an AR inquiry. was in 3/17 and prior to that was 1/17. The reason for the ask is I was able to time my last CLI request right after the January-17 AR and was able to see a nice CLI bump (2K to 10K) with an SP. I was hoping to wash-rinse-repeat that now that it has been 6 months, however, I do not see any 'recent' AR. Does anyone know if Navy is going to use the FICO 9 score now avail as the basis of review or moving to HP only. I am simply being greedy and hoping for a CLI without having to do an HP. Thoughts ?

Even waiting for an AR doesn't guarantee you will get a SP CLI. It's just one HP, go for it if you want it

I got an instant approval SP CLI last week

My understanding is that there is still always a risk of an HP with them. If you request it and it goes to review, you can try calling in to cancel the request and potentially avoid the HP if you really don't want it. No guarantees, though.

I never saw an AR done either. Some people posted it was done but never said which bureau or offered any further info with their post and never responded to further posts requesting more info. I believe some are assuming it was done because they got an instant CLI. I checked TU and EX and haven't seen a SP done on those two bureaus.

I also wonder if the AR is no longer happening since they are offering the FICO 09 score now. Submitted my "Maximum" CLI request today now that my 91 days/3rd statement have hit on my $24k Flagship and got the 24 hour message, so I guess it's going to review. If I just get the $1k to round up to $25k and it's a SP I'm good with that for now. If it's a HP and causes me to leave the garden I'm going to recon for the full $80k.

I've not seen a Navy AR since 2/28 on any CR. So it is indeed possible they are using the FICO scores to do CLIs if it meets a requirement. My guess is if the score isn't high enough they will pull.

Thats awesome. I hadn't asked for a CLI on my navy plat since 2011, finally did last month and went from 15 to 22k. The main reason I'd be interested in another card from them is either for a 0% promo or really for utilization benefits. My other goal on the navy plat is to get the rate reduced down.
