Chase Disney Visa (Changes of Approval?)

I would like to apply for the Chase Disney Visa card (not for the points, mainly for the other perks such as in the parks and using it for your vacation).

The issue is I burned Chase not too long ago in a Chapter 13. I am currently rebuilding and have already obtained 2 new cards from USAA.

I hear Chase is hard to get in and once you burn them your chances are less.

Should I not even bother to try?

Just an FYI and something you might want to look into, Chase has a Disney Debit card (free) that you can ask for if you have a checking account with them...SAME park perks and has disney card designs also, only difference is you get no points like the CC, SO if you want the perks, see if you can open a checking account with them an ask for the Disney Debit card....Good Luck and have a Magical Day!!!

Chase has a very long memory. Back around 1999 I burned them (actually an old Bank1 card) for less than $1000 and in 2014 they asked me about it when I was reconning an app.

How long ago did you burn them and how much?

They are not in my area so I am not able to appley for the Chase Disney Debit Card.

Just looked it says Chase Card 2005 ($10,000 - I think I can't find the judgement on my older accounts) - I believe I had a judgement but it was removed so not sure if that helps

If you burned them, you are probably blacklisted. They have a very long memory, even going back to old WaMu accounts that they got when they bought them out

If you do decide to give it a shot. Search around the Internet for the best sign-up bonus. When applied for my card, I found a referral link online that matched the "premier" card's $200 gift card. Huge Disney fan. Love my card for the cool designs.

Thanks for reminding me of that. I see those deals all the time and it would be great to get one of those signup bonuses.

Yeah I figured the same but I put in my zipcode and it said they could not offer it to me.

A word of warning ---- Chase will pull your credit reports even if you are blacklisted. Also, they have this annoying habit of double pulling. Be prepaared for the fallout

If you've defaulted on them in the past, don't call. Just ride it out. If you get a letter, you can call then.

I was on their BL and wasn't approved until my reports were clean and I still received the 30 day, but I finally decided not to call in. Was approved about a week later. I now have two cards.

What I gather in is just wait the 7-10 days and either get a letter or a card?

If I get denied then I should call them and see what they can do, if anything?

Chase will auto decline for BK on reports. Get your recon skills ready and call Chase to request a recon. Good luck!

Then why did it go to pending? Shouldn't it have auto declined when I applied?

I'm just going off personal experience and what I have researched. Heck, play it safe and wait for the letter. Once you get it you can call to recon as well. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
