Amex Blue Cash—>Gold?

Hey there everyone,
Recently approved for Amex Blue Cash. It’s my first Amex. Thought I’d done my research but I’m still new to this travel rewards stuff, so of course I keep finding better cards later:/ Think I should go for Amex Gold? Would it be possible for Amex to swap the Blue for Gold since I’ve yet to activate? Thanks everyone, I’m learning so much here I can hardly keep up

You cannot product change from a revolver to a charge card. However, the PRG is not a difficult card to get. If you got approved for a BCE you should be good to apply for the PRG.

Just keep in mind, the PRG is a charge card and must be paid in full every month.

i dont think theyll let you upgrade on so new of an account but you might just app for the Gold and maybe get lucky with no additional hp.

So ends my app spree... didn't get the Gold but no doubt it's due to two other approvals this month. Guess I got a little cocky Happy to have gotten a couple good reward cards though (Chase SW, and Amex Blue Cash). Off to the garden, and Gold is my next conquest.
