1. Neither of the two banks you are asking about will pull your FAKO scores, they will pull your FICO scores;

2. There is absolutely no way any of us would know what type of SL you will receive, even if we knew your FICO scores;

3. You will get 2 hard pulls for the Chase Slate and Chase Amazon applications; and

4. A quick Google search for "no balance transfer fees credit cards" will produce a number of hits that can answer your question quicker.

Even if someone had a similar experience as you, there is no way of knowing whether or not they did not embellish their approval details/data points. The best thing we can tell you is if you may or may not have good chances of getting approved with your overall credit picture AND your FICO scores (hence the word "FICO", considering you are asking your questions on FICO's community forums). With all of the inquiries you currently have, why are you afraid of one more? You may have had only 2 for each bureau in the last six months, but inquiries are more of a factor in your credit rating when they are less than one year in age. Obtain your FICO scores as they may not be in the same range as your FAKO scores. You may get better answers you're willing to listen to when your actual scores are known. All the best!

 I was wondering what the consensus was on how high a starting credit limit would be possible for 2 credit cards currently offering no transfer fees for the first 60 days and 0% for 15 months. They are Bankamericard and Chase Slate. I have a 701 Equifax score, 702 Experian and 714 TU score. These are FAKO scores. I have no collections or negatives whatsoever. I currently just have a Capital One QS with a $750 limit and a 0 $ balance. I have never had a Chase or Bank of America credit card and I have never banked with either one. My income is $51,000 per year. I have 10 Experian inquiries, 18 Equifax inquiries and 16 TU inquiries, only 2 for each bureau in last 6 months.

 My 4 questions are first of all: 1) What are my chances of getting either of these cards? 2) Which one of these cards would give me a higher starting limit as I would like to get a credit limit of $3,500 if at all possible? 3) If I could get the Chase Slate could I use that card to get the Chase Amazon Visa which I would like for other purposes without them having to do another hard pull that they would have done for Chase Slate Application? Are there any other financial institutions that are currently offering no balance transfer fees/0% interest out there?

Thanks in advance for your guidance helping with my application.

I could be wrong, but all those Inq's are going to scare away any prime lender you app with.

If you want a prime card, you have to do the work to get it. The work you need to do is STOP apping for at least 10 months from your last hard Inq.

You look desperate to lenders & they have obviously run fast.

Go to the gardening thread...they will help you to stay on track & keep the apping bug from the end of your trigger finger!!

I should state the inquiries were from rebuilding my credit for the past year because I didn't add any new accounts for years so my account age is 1 year, 2 months; So the inquiries were mostly successful in getting Walmart $4,000, Amazon $4,000, Lowes %5,000, Toyota Rewards $1,000, Target $800, Capital One QS $750 and 4 or 5 store cards. I haven't applied to any major credit card financial institutes in over 12 years so I haven't been turned away by any of them yet.

Please pull your true FICO 8 scores. So you have a better idea of where you stand. Two for each CB in a six months period isn't terrible. INQs don't hold a lot of weight really. You can go here to get them www.creditchecktotal.com for a $1.
I'd suggest using a prepaid card with no more than $10 on it. Sometimes these guys are tough to reach in order to cancel the membership.
The Slate isn't known to be a large SL card. The BofA card may not start where you want it. But the limit grows quickly.

I'd go for the capital one venture one card.

I got a 10k limit on it, but i only had about 4-5 inquries at the time, i also had several more bank credit cards.

Store credit cards are not worth as much to fico, so i wouldn't get anymore of those.

Anyways the highest limit i had was a 3300 citibank card (4 months old) when i applied for the capital venture one card and they gave me 10k.

You definitely need a bank card added to your list.

BTW Chase is **bleep**ty about doing credit limit increases, they wont do it without a hard pull, so if you get a low limit chase it will be stuck that way without a HP. Chase will not approve you if you have opened more then 5 cards in the last 24 months, so don't even try if you have done that.

Slate isn't known for massive SLs. Having a CC through a major bank. Doesn't guarantee a major limit. Many times it's just the opposite. How much would you like to balance transfer? That will give us a better idea of where you may need to look.

Which is my all time favorite for 0% BTs.
Andrews FCU https://www.andrewsfcu.org/whats-new/promotions.html#goto_2 is running a promotion. It's not 0% but 4.99% for the life of the transfer. Very easy to join by becoming a member of American consumer council https://www.americanconsumercouncil.org/membership.asp?dname=Americanconsumercouncil.org . Use promo code "Consumer" in order to join for free. Joiningthe CU is a SP. The cool thing about apping CUs is a lot of them will asked you what limit you need or want. With the big banks, you get whatever the system spits out.
Keep that in mind when overlooking the CUs. Andrews primarily pulls EX or TU from my research.
Bank of America is your best bet of the two you've mentioned earlier. At least the CLs will grow quickly compared to Chase IME. Make sure you asked for enough to keep utilization below 30% of the card limit so not to crap out your scores.

I am working with my credit union regarding their cc using a previously pulled credit bureau. What I need to know next is what

major credit card for balance transfers would be next if my starting credit card limit isn't enough. If Bankamerica doesn't like alot of inquiries more so than Chase Slate I may apply with Chase Slate first. I was wondering if anyone with experience with this situation would have some insight. Maybe it might also be a good idea to get input on DIscover IT or American Express on how they look at recent/many inquiries.

Your INQs are fine. Being you've had only two in a 6 months period. The INQs aren't a major factor. "Too many new accounts" is where the denials normally happen.
Only one way for you to find out as you've ignored pretty much any of the advice given.
Is to jump in with two feet and let the chips fall where they may. Sometimes we must experience things on our own in order to understand.
Good luck with the hunt.
