Can you apply foe the Amex Gold Delta card and receive the signup bonus then later sign up for Amex Delta Platinum card and receive the signup bonus for that card?

Added thought....be sure not to pc from gold to plat delta. You must apply for the plat delta to receive the sign up bonus.

Or be lucky like me, and recieve a targeted offer to upgrade to the Platinum Delta at the same sign up bonus available to new card members. Meant having one less AX product which I appreciated at the time!

Thanks for the info. I have a starter limit on the gold card so I added my daughter as an AU. She can use it while she is in school. I applied for the Delta platinum and was given a much better SL ($8k). In two weeks I can apply for the Delta Reserve, but will hold off for now. Too many AF’s in a short window colliding with post Christmas repayments.
