Amex plat denied 2nd time

First time denial Fico was 695 Jan 2.
Reapplied March 1 Fico 711.
Currently have Delta and SPG cards for 6 months pif monthly (thousands). Preapproved for all other revolvers on Amex site. Called Recon to see if was a soft pull and it was. Did not want a hp so did not request recon. Last time I try. I will stick with NFCU for my spending from now on.

Why did you reapply only 60 days later?

To me that doesnt seem like the best idea.

Check your pre-approvals monthly or so.......you’ll get it eventually.

I noticed your beginning scores, do you have any bads or BK in your profile? If so that maybe the case for denial even though you have a 711 score at the moment. Charge cards are Amex’s easiest cards to be approved for.

All bads fell of last yr... no bk or anything negative. AAoA- 8 yrs mostly due to several student loans that are nearly paid off. Income over 6 figures. NFCU gave 15k sl cash rewards and 10k Cloc in Jan. Inquiries Ex 5 TU 2 EQ 3 in the past 12 months.

Then the only thing I could think of is the Ex5 (10 combined), your amex cards are only 6 months old and a lot of other new credit showed up on your reports. If you limits on the two cards are low, say 1k then there is something that amex doesn't like about your file.
