topic Amex EveryDay card approval process in Credit Card Applications

I applied for an Amex card yesterday thinking not much of it. I’ve been slowly working on my score and paying off all my debt. This month must have been my best month my EX score is 636 up from 450, because I’ve been persistent at making sure all my debt was paid and updated in the allotted time. I was approved for an Amex Hilton Honors for 1k$. I set up my account and they also offered me the EveryDay card, Platinum card and the Gold card. I applied for the everyday one hoping I could snag 2 but the 1st was was approved and the second one was pending. I called today about the second one and it seems as thought I entered my social in, missing it by 1 digit, that really wasn’t the issue but they corrected it for me. Does anyone know how long it will take for the approval for the EveryDay card and what are my odds of getting it right after applying for the 1st one?

Seeing that you were approved for 1000cl one of their lowest tiers you "may" not get the second approval. That was how it is was with my hubby Got first one prequalified for second but denied We waited after 90 days and he got a second card with 1000cl again. YMMV good luck

Applied 4/18/2018.
My scores are relatively terrible right now to what they should be. Showing utilization through the roof at 43% because they haven't reported to the bureaus which should bring me down under 5%.
TU 648 - aaoa 1.9 years - 5 inquiries
EQ 636 - aaoa 9 months - 9 inquiries
EX 673 - aaoa 1 year - 15 inquiries (identity theft. Working on some disputes)

With Amex, I've had the Blue Cash Preferred (10k starting limit, no increases) since 2016 in good standing, a closed PRG card, & a Platinum card since 01/2018

I applied around midnight with no instant approval. Got the we need to review message. Woke up, no email. Checked the status online: In Progress. Waited a bit. Called the recon number on my way to the grocery store. Spoke to someone, in another country I'm assuming, who verified my identity with the standard questions & da-ta he said I'd been approved for 2k. I was expecting a few questions similar to my Barclay recon for my Uber card, ex. Why is your utilization so high, employment/income verification, why so many accounts so quickly, etc. But nothing. This is only the 2nd time I haven't gotten an instant approval, & I was horrified about the recon process based off things I've read in forums, but I can't imagine it gets any easier than that. A little disappointed about the low initial limit but I plan on reallocating most of my BCP to the Everyday to really take advantage of the no fee + 0% intro APR on balance transfers for 15 months
