I don’t think losing the card resets the clock, Citi may want to verify your identity.

So today marks the day I was going to request a SP CLI for my Citi Simplicity card (it's been 6 and a half months since my last CLI, which was Auto). However, about a week ago I lost my card and there was a fraud charge so i blocked it right away, did the dispute..got the new card activated it and delinked my old one. I activated it today.

When I went to the CLI page, they said to contact Citi directly by calling them. So does this mean the six month clock just got reset? Just dont want to risk a HP by calling a rep with an itchy trigger finger, or stating its a SP without knowing (I like seeing the language), and KNOWING it wont pull my credit.
