Does anyone know if pendfed keep the 50k limit to thier member?
I already have 50k on cash back card but I want the amex and a line of credit

Everything I have read says their cc max is $50k. If you want a 2nd card they'll reduce your current card to accomodate....unless you want to product change...can't remember off hand how they handle that though.

$50K is the maximum unsecured cap for CCs OP.

PenFed does not do product changes, but can reallocate CLs between CCs.

I heard when you ask Penfed for a porduct change all they do is close your old account and open the new one you want to product change to...That kinda takes the point out of it....

A typical product change keeps your old history of the previous account and just changes the type of card linked to it ..... Penfed closes the account entirely and opens a new account.....

Yes but no...with PenFed they will close your old account & start a new account....others, like cap1, simple change your card but not the account age.

If your talking about a Checking line of credit yes they do...... It has a maximum limit of 15k.... ..

Navy Fed also has a credit card and I believe the highest limit card they have is 80k... I believe it's on thier Flagship Visa Signature card ... The only card they have with a annual fee

May I ask why you need more from Penfed when you made a recent thread concerning a considerable amount of cc debt? I'd imagine you will want to tackle that 43k debt before adding on more. Just a thought.

I was curious about how personal line of credit is view over pendfed and is seen as unsecure credit my plan still the same pay off my debt so mnk y credit score will go close to 800
