For those of you that are both USAA and NFCU, how do you compare the USAA Rewards Amex to the NFCU More Rewards/GoRewards card? Either better than the other?

Hope this helps! Just applied and I'm in NC.... Info below.

USAA (Applied Online)

Product Application: (2) Credit Cards + PLOC $15k

Result: First Card approved $5k limit(Preferred Cash Rewards® Visa). 2nd Card it would not let me apply (Amex) (says my limit reached). PLOC Declined.

Bureau Pulled: HP Experian (Twice: 1 for CC + 1 for PLOC)

Note: I called the 800 # after I couldn’t apply for the 2nd CC online, the rep stated it was because I already applied for one and the 2nd card application would result in another hard pull. I didn’t want a 3rd pull, so I didn’t move forward.

My Location: North Carolina

Application Date: 10/3/2018

My Stats

Equifax:

Score: 642

Inquiries: 7

AAoA: 5yrs, 3months

Utilization: 61%

Experian:

Score: 686

Inquiries: 5

AAoA: 5yrs, 2months

Utilization: 31%

TransUnion:

Score: 678

Inquiries: 6

AAoA: 5yrs, 2months

Utilization: 29%

Across all three bureaus:

Oldest Acct Age: 12 Years

Highest Limit card: $20k | NavyFed | 61% individual utilization | 8 Months Old

Derogatory: None

Late Payments: None
