      <title>New Capital One CLI response?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If this is old news, just humor me. lol. It is hard to keep up with all the changes with the various financial institutions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyway, after not using my quicksilver one card due to it being stuck at a $1200 limit, i requested a CLI today. Usually, I am told thank you for applying and to check my inbox in 2 to 3 days for a response. That response has been no for the past year or so. Today, however, the response was slightly different. See below. I am assuming this is a denial, because it was not instant. It was my first card in my rebuild when my credit file was blank so I am sure I was "bucketed".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just got out right "Denied! You will receive a letter in 7-10 days..."&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I'm eligible for a CLI in 2 days. If they give me that response, I'm gonna call in and demand to speak to said specialist.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>It doesn’t surprise me. It is not a customer centric company anymore. While not a rude response, it doesn’t say (We Value You).&lt;BR /&gt;I wouldn’t personally suggest Cap One to anyone. My own experience. This sort of robotic letter just reenforces that.&lt;BR /&gt;I do hope they show you some love.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Cap1 gave me the break I needed when I was starting to rebuild my credit. I am grateful&amp;nbsp;to Cap1 but I outgrew what they had to offer. Perhaps one day in the future, Cap1 will offer me the CL that I desire with the rewards that work for me and I will start using their product again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently got the 2-3 day message when I requested a CLI. My $2750 limit card was denied because my scores are too low but my $500 limit card was denied because of high usage of the card. I have not received any CLI in over a year. I have had cap 1 for 6 years. My scores are low due to financial issues, so balances are to blame. Hopefully when I pay the cards off they will give a decent CLI.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>That's funny! All the CS agents always prided themselves to tell me I can't speak to someone about my account because all CLIs are done by the computer.&lt;BR /&gt;I doubt there is really a specialist, lol! Sounds like a line.</description>

      <description>+1&lt;BR /&gt;use the card well and pay it off on time or before statement cuts.&lt;BR /&gt;I recently posted about my CLI experience from 2010 to present in the approvals forum. It stated as a rebuilder, something like $500 and is now at $19800. The most recent jump was 10k last month after getting a 7-10message. I think it’s mostly bc I was using the card more.</description>

Next time charge $51.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes, it was PC’d from platinum (rebuilder) to a QS1 six months ago and since then I wasn’t eligible for cli bc I merged it w another cap 1 card then closed it.</description>
