First National MLife CLI

I've had this card for over two years and have only recieved one random CLI, I think $2500 to $3800.

I use the card frequently and just recently paid off a balance from one too many Vegas trips (totally worth it though!)

My FICO scores have improved since opening the account. I'd like to request a CLI, but have never done that with this card. I've read that others call in and ask for a CLI. Does FNB require a hard pull for CLI?

I have a Gold Amex Delta card and my limit has gone from $7k-$24k in two years. I've never requested a CLI from Amex, so hopefully FNB will be kind as well.

Any CLI initiated requests are typically HP with FNBO.

However, what you would need to ask is whether there are any type of pre-approved CLI offers on your account and they'd be able to determine if any SP CLI offers are available. If so, you can confirm that they are SP and you're good to go.

These are usually available every ~6 months.

I had trouble with that card had it for a year of alittle more never was eligable for a SP CLI on that card for whatever reason.. Got chopped this last month due to that and honestly reward structure didnt work well for me as not going to vegas much recently. the lack of growth caused it to get the ax started at 7k ended at 7k

Thank you! I didn't even know about pre-approved SP CLI offers. I'll definitely check this out.

It's definitely a pointless card unless you frequent MLife casinos, especially in Vegas where the rewards are signifigantly better. I don't really use it outside Vegas.

My problems with this card lie with First National. I had a delayed payment processing issue in the first few months, and their CSRs were less than helpful. It was extra bad because I was literally in Vegas staying an MLife resort when this occured. It really soured my experience with FNB. MLife works well for me and I rarely have issues with their program, but honestly, MGM chose the WORST bank possible to handle their credit card operations. Their stinginess on CLIs really says it all. I'll avoid all FNB cards in the future.

CC, I reading this made me think of exactly where I stand and am thinking about my two Citi Cards. The day is very near on the double chop!
