So finally took the plunge and applied for the CSP. Processed for maybe 8 seconds and got the dreaded decline. All scores in the 675-690 range. Got a little recent pop for AZEO and decided to do it. Obviously a bad decision. I had been on a roll recently having been approved for Cap1 Venture1 in July, Amex Gold in Sept and Amex BBP in October and felt like I'd get approved. Oh well. Probably will wait a bit and try again. Any advice on how long I should wait and also what I should be shooting for with my scores?

Feeling a bit discouraged as I had planned to follow up with an Ink card next month to pay for my cell and cable bill. Then follow that up with Hyatt.

What was the reason Chase denied your CSP application when you app'ed in August? Did the situation change when you applied this time?

I would say wait until most of your accounts are 1 year old or more, also getting the inquiries more aged.

Check out what the denial letter says. That will tell you what you need to know.

My AAoA was around three years when I apped for the UF and Ink. My scores were in the low 700s. I think the garden might be the hit.

Its a marathon, not a sprint my friend.

The only thing I would say is don't get discouraged OP. It happens to most at some point or another.

As others have mentioned above, give your profile some time to breathe for about ~6 months or longer. Don't apply for anything else that may take the CSP slot (or any other Chase CC) away from your goal due to the known 5/24 restriction. If, and when you are ready to apply, visit your local Chase branch (if you live nearby one) and explore whether any pre-approved offers are available.

As far as the AmEx Amazon Biz CC, yes. If you incur a HP (big "if"), that would be the only thing visible through EX.

Potentially, if SP, then like nothing happened. Since AmEx Biz CCs don't report to personal CRs, then you should be ok as far as 5/24.

I have around 8/24, and applied online as well and got denied, then in the same day I went to bank to do some stuff and asked manager if I can get approved on CSP, he said definitely! Will do, so we applied with him, he called to credit bureau and I really got approved with CL 11K
This is second time when I apply online, get denied and then get approval in branch
