AMEX denied 3x CLI at 61, now pre approved for all cards.

So I was denied for a 3x CLI on day 62 on my BCE. Fast forward another 45 days and now I'm pre-approved for all their cards. Should I try for a CLI on my BCE again? I really don't want to get another AMEX card right now, I'm in the garden.

You have to wait 91 days from a CLI denial.

As for being pre-approved, don't app just to add a card, apply only if the card fits your spending and will out benefit the cards you already have.

That's the answer I was looking for. Thanks. I really don't want another AMEX card right now, I don't fly Delta and nothing really fits my spending pattern except for the BCE. Maybe a hotel card in 2020 when I'm traveling...

This is not always true, OP what was your original SL? Were you in their version of "credit steps?"
