Declined twice in the last two months for CLI. On both notices they are using FICO from 1/17/19. Is this normal that they use a score which is two months old?

Via what method did you request the CLI? Was it online, automated phone request or did you reach out to the Credit Solutions department?

First time live person (Credit Solutions?) and second time once TU updated on their site I tried online. Both denials showed TU score from 1/17/19, One was done in Feb and the other in Mar.

Yes they do use the old score. My score updatd to 778 ex, tu, got denied twice for synchrony cli.

I will try next month again. I also have four new accounts opened not sure if that's also a big factor

Will be two years in Nov. Yes recurring payments monthly.

Since there seems to be a lag on the score being used, maybe try in April/May?

You mentioned upthread when you reached out to them..."First time live person (Credit Solutions?)...". Which number did you call? Was it the number on the back of your card?

I don’t recall what number I called, most likely the contact us # on the website

I would recommend trying any of the 2 numbers below to reach the Credit Solutions team directly. Hopefully this might yield better results:
