Avant adverse action from pre qualify

So I just got an email saying they issued a card and changed their mind and denied it . Says I applied for a card. I checked a pre qualify and it said I was approved but never apped. No inquires show up on my TU though so that's weird.

671 FICO. What's weird just got an uber Visa and PayPal Mc yesterday and Amazon store 2 weeks ago. So that they actually denied and it's not even a prime card is bad. Lol.

Hope a hard Inq doesn't pop up. They said from 3/19

Could just be an issue in their system or someone is pretending to be you!

Nope never ever had Avant. I didnt even app just did the pre qualify thing since it popped up on CK.

So weird that it says they issued a card but are denying it after.

I did their prequalify a few months ago and had a weird thing happen too. After hitting submit it looked like I had actually applied for a card instead - sent me a denial with my credit score and reasons why like an official denial letter. Freaked me out because I wasn't trying to apply and didn't want a hard inquiry from it. But never did get an inquiry on any of the bureaus.

Good to know. Yeah no HP so far and don't think it will happen. Just an odd email to get.
