Sams Club Sync Bank Inceasement

Can anyone tell me who Sams Club Sync Bank pulls credit from? I have a $8,000 credit limit with them at 50% usage about to be paid down and have had the card with them for 5 years and never requested a credit increasement.

Can anyone give advice rather to do it online or via telephone and what to ask for?

Sync is generally a SP, and usually TU. You can request an CLI online, although if you are looking for a serious increase I recommend calling their overseas credit solutions number because they can potentially give more. A score over 700 seems to give more CLIs. I would ask for the moon, as they will counter if they can't give it to you.

Anything over 10k, call Credit Solutions. Have your TU unlocked or frozen so they can see your report.

I called to request a line of increasement but no one could tell me if it was a hard pull or soft. Is there a different number I'm suppose to call other than what's on the back of the Sams Card? Thanks...

@Admins - do you know what the credit solutions number is? I call what was on the back of my Sams Card and was told they didn't know if it was a soft pull or hard pull. Sounded like I was calling India?

Thank you so much! I have a use of 55% on the card with a total $8,000 limit. I have had the card for 5 years and never requested an increasement. Is it a bad time with the card being at 55% usage? Thank for the number too!

Wait till you pay it down, wait for CR to reflect lower utilization, ask again

I will and thank you for the response! I feel like an idiot too. I should have known better. American Express just gave me a $27,000 limit increase from $9,000 and figured what the heck. I'll pay the entire balance off soon. Is there a good time to attempt again once I pay the card off? 3-6-8 months?

Give it another shot in four months and if you can pay down the balance a bit.. By the way, I believe the max limit you can get on this card is give it another shot in four months and if you can pay down the balance a bit.. By the way, I believe the max limit you can get on this card is $12,000.

AFAIK, $12K is not the cap or max CL on Sam's Club...mine used to be $25K and reduced it to $10K voluntarily in order to CLI another SYNCB CC. There's been a few folks that have reported CLs >$20K on this particular one.

So has anyone found the max that Synchrony Bank can give for CCs?

It appears the consensus is around $35K (some exceptions have been seen above that), but a lot would depend on the specific product and POI requirements after a certain threshold. This would also hinge on the overall exposure with SYNCB.

I went online did a credit increasement after being denied 2 months ago. Credlit limit is now $12,000 from $8,000. I also paid off most of my credit cards and the fico scrore went up. I think that might have made a difference.

I also purchased a new BMW for the wife and was given an automatic BMW credit card with a $5,000 limit. I'm going to pick a handful of cards to keep and cancel some of the others. As some know I have 27 credit cards or very close to it!
