Credit One Bank CLI denial....

well i requested for a CLI with a rep and was denied. got the letter stating why and it said .
account usage during last 90 days does not meet the minimun requirements.

due to high interest i dont use this card at all and utilization is very minimal $110 balance with $2475 limit.

first time denied for not using a card lol
just a fyi for those that plan on requesting a cli make sure you have used it ...

Do you have other cards? Because if so, I would close that Credit One last week lol. You don’t use it anyway.

As long as you're not paying fees on it then just put a recurring bill on it, put it on auto pay, and throw it in a drawer and focus your efforts on your other cards or think about future options.

Mine is @ $2,500 and they keep targeting me for a new $1,000 card. I might call and just tell them to add the $1k on my current card.

i got a Similar offer but it was for $800 I didn’t bother then several months later got another offer for credit one MasterCard preapproved for $1500

Just because I said if it's not costing you any fees just keep it didn't necessarily mean to poke and prod them for a CLI.

Credit One is a cesspool of nastiness you don't really want in your life unless it's the last resort.

Credit One seems to only want to give out what they think you will use, from what I've read on here. I read someplace that their max limit per card is $3K. (More cards, more fees to charge!)

Credit One exists to help people with low scores get their feet back on the ground and rebuild their profiles. It's not a "keeper" card by any means. Should they offer a 2%CB WEMC/Visa Sig with $60K limits, single digit APR's/0% for the first 24, primary rental car coverage, no FTF, no AF, No BT fees and Chip+Pin... I may change my mind

Dont they charge to provide CLIs. Ditch them dont get made from no CLI. There are better cards out there.

If you have achieved prime cards there is really no reason to hang on to a Credit One card, even if its your oldest card. Nothing can be achieved by continuing to hold a card from a predatory lender that cant be achieved throughother cards that are more reliable imho.

I agree with everyone who posted above me. when I had called in to close my Credit One card they tried like hell to keep me buy offering a lower APR and a $100 CLI. They are crap and you need to ditch them as soon as you can, oldest account or not.
