Comenity Sportsman's Guide Visa

Just figured id throw this out there i applied for this about 2 weeks ago got the hp on Eq but as of today i havent even recieved the AA letter. I have fraud alerts so i know it wouldnt be instant most likely verification but apparently they dont care if i get a letter. Ah well this is probably blessing in disguise of not getting another Comenity card or adding another sccount

I would say give it a few more days for the letter. They be slow like that.

Hopefully verification? But, if not, it's no biggie. Try calling the 800 c/s #. If it recognizes your phone # through the initial authentication then maybe a good sign? 😉

No doubt indeed. The SG card typically tops out at $20K, IIRC. So there's definitely plenty of opportunities to grow it for as long as you have the account. I've never had a HP through the automated system when requesting a CLI btw.

On the 4th of this month I got a CLI on my Total Rewards card. Now, both that and my Sportsman's Guide are at $13,250. It's been a long road with the $1k to $1.5k CLIs every 4 months and 1 day (Got them both the same day in 2014).

They are only still in my wallet because of the BTs. When I get the BTs paid down, maybe a $10 or $15 charge per month with go on them at 26.99% APR.

Maybe it'll show up for you for the BT purposes.

I just broke the $10k CL barrier on my SGV a couple months ago. I hear SCT approvals are still SP. Was your app SCT or cold?

They took 3 weeks to send me the AA letter for the Farmers Visa.

The on screen message was the strangest I have seen. They hit EQ and then said “we need two 2 weeks to process your app”. Hmm... I thought that sounds not good, but not bad either. Wrong. Denied. Lol.

Even if denied another hp for nothing is my norm so oh well. Its pretty sad i can get 5 disco denial letters in a single day and Comenity wants to use a Foreign postal service to deliver a piece of paper lol.

Comenity mails things at the speed of molasses so it's quite possible you just haven't gotten the letter yet.

Yes their mail is very slow altough i get the 0% bt offers weekly though mail and email lol.. Might go for AKC card shortly due to my doggie and been a year plus since i have hit comenity up for a card and the only other one i want

back when I was dumb enough to apply for the Adorama card I also had a fraud alert on my profile. Comenity's practice was to send me a letter via snail mail that included a verification code that I needed to call their fraud department with to verify ID, and then they approved me over the phone. The letter took over two weeks to arrive.

I think I actually posted about this experience when I first joined the community. But if you want to know any more I'm always happy to share.

most major of comenity have 0% and 0 fee bt is 18 months that come around once or twice, etc a year. best BT really out there

Comenity Rocks/ Sand / Closing story

Well, i was going to start out with I hate Comenity lol but ill just settle for Comenity can kick rocks and pound sand😠

Recently apped for the Sportsmsn Guide Visa card and after unlocking my Eq ( had a previous try but letter said couldnt access cr) i got an immediate pull on Equifax. How slow is Comenity on mailing an AA letter? Letter dated May 23th and we are now on June 10th.

Figured it would be a call in to verify letter. Lol, guess what? Yeah, same reason as before, they couldnt verify me due to credit report not accessible. Fico me, ya got to be kidding me right Comenity!. You couldnt verify me after giving me a hp?. Complete waste of a bank and im glad it turned out this way. Tonight, been meaning to do this awhile now, i sent a secured message to close my $9250 Zales cc. Useless eyecandy anyway and im now officially out of the Comenity Bank game. Thank you Comenity for allowing me to see the errors of my ways. You could offer me 10 years 0% apr or bt and i wouldnt touch another card with your logo if you paid me 😎
