Just had 3rd statement cut and hit the love button and declined, have always pif and have ran $1000 a month through them and get no cli! So I will wait until the 6th statement cuts and see what happens, says I’ll get a letter explaining why in 7-10 days! My util is 30% on all cards, but was just approved on Monday for Amex bce, Amex ed and BoA cash rewards so took 2 hard inquiries.......guess I’ll put $100 on my discover and let it report a balance and see what happens then

Wait for the AA letter. If it says something like " Not enough experience blah blah blah" it just means they are not ready to increase quite yet

If it says something like "Excessive credit inquiries" it means you need to let it cool down quite a bit and wait around 90 days.

In either case, I think garden will do you good.

Yea I’ll probably hit the garden for atleast a year, I just was approved for 2 Amex cards and a BoA so it probably is too soon to try a cli with any of my cards

Your utilization is pretty high. I only spent $260 on my Discover Card this year and after I requested an increase they gave me a $2500 CLI.

Sorry to hear about your CLI denial with Discover. But, I bet AmEx and BoA put a smile on your face!

Don’t lose faith in them it will grow. If they do like they did mine they also declined the CLI at the 3 month mark but did an auto CLI on it at the 4 month mark. I have gotten 3 more since then. So my advice is just be patient Discover works in strange ways sometimes but they will get to you with a CLI. You can also request one yourself I do it every 30 days.

Just keep asking every month.
I started with 1200 and asked for CLI for 3 consecutive months and finally got denied this month (which is the 4th month)
Now I have 3200 with them and will ask for a CLI sometime next month

Depends on your available credit line.
Example if you have $5k dont charge more than $500.0.0.
Pay it off the following month, the next month charge another $500.00 pay off 50% of the balance, carry a balance.
Next month charge another $250.00 then pay the entire $500.00 off.
Ask for a credit limit increase and see.

Don't give up. Miss Disco is a very jealous one. She got ticked off you dumped her for other cards. She'll come around in time. I started with 1200 and almost 4 yrs later I'm at 18k+ with 2 cards. The love will come in time. 🤗

They prolly really hate me so far, they gave $5000 on September 1st. I’ve ran $9600 through it since then. Had it up to $4990 charged at one point paint it of the next day. I pay whatever is charged every week

way random lottery discover,
my limit is $1500 just spent minors like $50 gas etc and paid on time or earlier been 2nd year applied credit line boooom denied 2 times
i have 5k limit capitalone 4k mercury 2k tdcash
dont want to use capitalone lack of no points
but discover come on wth
