So I was in a snit since B of A gave me such a small limit on the Cash Rewards card (See Approvals). I read another post on Approvals and someone else felt a similar response and so I said what the heck. I have a Barclays Ring card since 2013, all good there, except I haven't used it for a year. But all good with Barclays and my scores are great with 0 inquiries.

So I logged into my Hawaian Airlines account. They have been pestering me to get their card, and its a great offer. 60K Miles, 1st year AF waived. And I love Hawaii. I go twice a year. After I appy this silly thing pops up about We Will Let You know. I'm all WHAT?! When I do apply for cards it is always instant approval, plus I have an existing account for 6 years with Barclays. So, I'm dumb founded between B of A and now Barclays. I don't get it.

DP in My Sig...and 0 INQ, maybe 1 if they pull EXP and see BofA, but I think Barclays pulls TU. Income is 6 figures. FICO 8 is 755 on TU or 750 on EQ or EXP. Credit Lines range from $4K to $40K. Only 12 active accounts, 4 accounts have small balances.

@Dave4funRECON! Barclay is good on recons ... might be verification? Give them a ring up and put your approval in your pocket. Did that for my own accounts and they were very friendly!

Thank you Dino, Jag, and Mod CreditCuriosity! I looked up the sticky number for Barclays on the wonderful MyFico. Called 866-205-5973. Immediate direct answer. He was very nice and professional. Asked me my job title and how long where I worked. Then said looks good and said he had to call another department, found out that was Security. Thing is the internal hold times were crazy. I was literally on the phone 40 minutes to get this done! Security said it was all done and approved at $20K SL. Thanks again -and I will post an Approval post.
