So I would really like one but I'm reading the card is backed by Citi. I have a 3 year old bankruptcy and wondering if I will be denied because of that ?

Citi blacklisted me from a Sears card for a BK I never filed.

Many have been approved for a Macy’s card with a BK on file OP. @pizza1 also has had a good experience.

It seems as if Macy’s store card itself has looser requirements than an actual Citi card.

I have a 3 yo bk and I was approved for the Macy’s store card this past December for $400. The CL is now $5400.00. Macy’s was also IIB. Hopefully this helps!
