If not, you have a good chance to get your foot in the door.

If so, you should pay for delete.

With Navy anything is possible. Wont know unless you apply. Normally with those scores id say no but Navy works different than most lenders

I think you have a pretty good chance with these scores. especially with your transunion being 626, navy usually pull Transunion for credit card application. I remember 2 months ago my score were in the 630s, I decided to apply for a cash reward card with navy, I get approved for 20000 dollars right on spot. plus I've seen other people on here say they get approved with score in the high 500s. so I think your score maybe good enough to get your foot in the door. even if you get denied you can use the same hard pull to get a secured card with them. their secured card graduate really fast like within 5 to 6 months. u can always apply for another card with them within 3 months. they usually show love in the second card

Unpaid collections tend to be more common reasons for denial. It’s worth a shot regardless though. Worst case scenario you’re out an HP. Best case scenario, you’ve got one of the best credit card issuers for rebuilders in your wallet.

They don’t have a preapproval tool unfortunately.

If you get denied for the Cash Rewards, you’ll be approved for the secured card without a doubt in my mind.

You already have unsecured cards, I think your chances for a cashRewards approval are pretty good, just NFCU is hit or miss when it comes to unpaid collections.

Navy doesn’t have a prequal. With your scores I doubt that you would be denied a secured card if they don’t approve an unsecured one. My guess is that you will get approved for an unsecured card but the SL will be the wild card?

I have read here that you can get an SL of $500 or $10,000. I understand that I am rebuilding, and as a company they need to mitigate risk. I would like an SL of at least $1,000, but I would be perfectly fine the the minimum SL. I just want in the door with them. 😁

NFCU review can go either way. Both of my apps went to review and were approved so I wouldn’t worry about it. NFCU likes to manually review quite a bit.
