Good Afternoon,

This is my very first post(although i have been browsing the threads for a while now ) as the title stated im interested in the freedom card, however had a denial for the chase amazon card about a month ago.as well as a denial for the barclay mastercard. I have a chase slate card which ive had for 7 month, as well as 2 capital one cards and a few other cards. I recently did an app spree for some store cards(some which handed out very low limits) , so im thinking i may need to hold off until june before any new apps. I just really have an itch for this freedom card.! lol what do yall think? I am building mny credit so my scores are no wher near where id like but i plan to use what i learn here to make the neccessary changes!

What are you FICO scores across all bureaus? What is your utilization currently at? Have you checked there pre-qual site yet?

Nothing new with being denied the Amazon Chase Visa.. Alot of people here have and have the Ritz/CSP/Etc are denied for that card.. There is something weird with the approval criteria for that card.

SCORES ARE AS FOLLOWS TRANSUNION 586(Cap1) EXPERIAN 630(creditsesame or quizzle) EQUIFAX 623(credit sesame or quizzle). CHECKED PRE QUAL AND IT DOESNT SAY AYTHING OTHER THAN I MAY HAVE ALREADY ACCEPTED OFFERS FROM THEM. IM THINKING ILL SIT IT OUT UNTIL JUNE AND THEN SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I HAVE 6 HP FOR DECEMBER. I AM SUPPOSED TO BE TRYING TO STAY AWAY FROM APPING ANYWAY,

Make sure you goto optoutprescreen.com and opt-in, most likely you are, but that will ensure you get pre-approvals/quals although they are marketing, some sites they are pretty dang accurate.

Do yourself a favor and actually BUY your true FICO's from this site as those sites are all FAKO's.. It will cost about 60 dollars, but money well spent to know where you truely stand.

I agree, I would probably wait and get some age on your accounts as well as it will help your Scores, etc.. Obviously you have some baddies, try to take care of those in the meantime by disputing or PFD or whatnot.

wait atleast 6 months, then open a checking, and saving if you can with chase, then wait about 2 weeks, then apply for freedom. check pre-approve chase site too, if you have an offer its solid 99%. but for now just garden. hope this help.
