Capone recon for discharged BK

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on this forum.

My scores are about 615 across the board. My salary is >100k.

I recieved a denial email from capone for a platinum card. The reason they used was that a non-discharged Bankruptcy. I recieved my Dischargeorder from a Chapter 13 on the 5th. Do you think if I call the Recon numbers and tell them I can Fax or email my Discharge order that they will reconsider my app?

I'm sure they will... once it's updated on your reports you should be fine either way.

Yes, fax them a copy of discharge, and you will be Ok. !

I called the REcon number and Max said to fax in the discharge letter. He said to wait 24 hours and then call back. We will see what happens. Thanks for the replies.

So I called Capone after I faxed in my discharge notice and spoke with Bruno. He said they received the supporting documents and that they will reopen the case and review it. It will take up to 15days and I will be notified by mail. Well, we will see what happens.
