So, I am a member of USAA. Nothing ever shows in my offers page. However, twice today i got an email from them stating, "Let us find the right card for you". both emails came 5 hours apart. is this their way of inviting me to apply? did i meet certain criteria? I dont want to waste an inquiry, but would like the amex they offer.

It sounds like marketing from what you described.
They are inviting you to apply.....but there are no guarantees on an approval.

I got those same emails. Really hard to say with USAA but since you don’t have any cards with them if you are not 5/24 watching and you don’t have a lot of new accounts opened recently you should be good to get a card with them. I have 3 cards with them. I won’t waste another HP with them but you have none so it’s a judgement call.
