Apple Card credit limit increase DPs

I saw several stories and it looked like I could request a credit limit increase so I messaged Goldman Sachs via the wallet app and said I have several cards that are 20,000 and 15,000 and such but they only gave me 3,000 and I would to know how I can get it re-evaluated.

The rep said give them a minute and then the rep came back and said they submitted my request for a credit increase and I should get an email within 30 days.

I guess someone is going to pull and manually review me, I don’t know but I’ll update when they answer.

Interesting. Initially they said nobody would be getting a CLI for 6 months. Definitely keep us posted. I wouldn't mind a CLI before March.

If Op is female, could have to do with the big hub bub about the " alleged" sex discrimination that may have been implemented in G&S algorithms.

I thought about that but if they are doing that for females, they have to offer it for males too so technically all of us who believe our limits to be too low could likely ask for them to investigate but I don't want any HP right now so I'm not going to test that theory.

Sorry but just for the last time purely as a DP only as I wasn't able to share our experience with them to the community....

Did pre-quals for myself and DW with them again last October 4th using the same combined income amount on both apps. DW got a much higher SL than me (+25%). Her TU F9 on letter was 811 and mine was 792 so no bias at least on our case.

Thanks I told them I would like to buy the new iPhone under their promo they are coming out with 0% finance for 24 months but I don’t want to have 50% utilization on this card and I have cards with 15k to 20k limits so 3k with then seems low.

Interesting.

My limit is $1000, but I have two other cards where the limit is $3000.

I asked on 11/1 for a review and they said to contact them in a few more months.

After seeing this thread I messaged for a re-eval and they are "working on it".

I just want it to match my $3000 cards (or maybe more LOL).

A good DP I think...

So this peaked my interest and I messaged customer service and asked if it was a HP or a SP for a CLI request and this was the response...

“We will not be pulling the your credit report. We will use the existing credit bureau data we have in connection with the customer's account. There will be no effect on your current credit score.”

recently requested a cli via chat about a month or two ago and the rep told me they don't do cli's. That's good that they are now offering them so i can give it another shot!

I think it could be a way to deny the request if they’re not checking a report one way or another. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

Just speaking for me, they have not reported or hard pulled my credit so no bear poking. In fact I'm not even making a purchase just yet until they report since I applied for the card on a whim and don't need it other then versatility.

My Apple CL was lowish too and the benefits are a real sleeper.
