Disco & Citi CLI denials; Apple Card decent offer

It's been a weird night for CCs. My Citi DC and Disco It just had their second statements cut so I tried for CLIs on both cards. Both denied, which I was totally expecting, but it still stinks. I'll try again in 90 days for Citi, and Disco of course whenever I feel like smashing the button again. TU: 676 EX: 699 FICO 8. I realized that I was 31 days since I last checked Apple preapproval, and when I apped before I was approved for $1,500 @ 23.74%. I ran my app again and was approved for $4,500 @ 23.49%! TU FICO 9 score was 696. I'm in the garden right now until April so I swiped out of the application and did not accept, although that's a tempting offer from them since I only have one card with a decent limit right now. Good thing y'all have taught me how important it is to garden if you want to really get what you want, or I would have totally snagged that Apple Card!

Discover will almost always NOT entertain a CLI before 3 months on a new card..... You might even get an autoCLI up to a week after the third statement..... if they do autocli you, you might even try for a double dip......

Citi usually wants 6 months between CLIs....

Disco usually makes you wait for your third statement, you can try again then and not in 90 days if you like.
