CITI Best Buy visa CLI

Have heard that this is a HP CLi was wondering if that is still the case? im aware of macys being SP increase just hit love button on that went to 7-10 day message so maybe denial. EQ Fico 8 at 652, not wanting the HP for a best buy increase tbh but only 3 on there from auto loan set to fall off in march of next year so wouldnt be too big a deal.

My GF has had one for years that had a 2050 limit and never requested a cli till last month I think, she pushed the luv button and it was a SP increase. I would follow AJC’s advice and expect a HP then there’s no surprises except for the possibility of a SP surprise.

Citi is always a HP it seems on the retail side. I received a HP for Home Depot which is backed by Citi. I received a decline for too many inquiries. I was at 10 on EX, 7 on TU and 5 on EQ. I also have the Best Buy store card. I won’t request CLI. I don’t want a HP. I have a 2k limit. I opened my account on 2/2019.

Citi is almost always a HP on retail side. I requested 12k (from 4k) and they HP my TransUnion (live in CA). They bumped me up to 9k in the end, last February. Was at 0/12 in inquiries at the time.
