Citi Bank.... Maybe?

6months ago I applied for a Citi CC. I was denied for my credit score and lack of history.

My history includes:

(1)Car Loan $12k PIF closed 2017.

(2)CC = $4k

I didn't call after the denial. I moved on.

Fast foward to today. I recieved a letter from Citi bank, explaining they did not mean to send me the letter with "denying based on credit score"...

Do I call?...is it too late for the reconsideration?

My vote is it couldn’t hurt to call and see what it’s about. Let us know what you find out if you do call.

If the application occurred beyond 60 days then it will not be reinstated. You'd need to reapply OP. Citi keeps 'active' applications only for a specific period.

I was thinking about this thread earlier and it reminded me of something... about 6 months ago I did a few prequalified offer checks on their website and it came back with nothing. About 3-4 weeks after, I received multiple letters in the mail stating how their system was acting up and it was very possible I was actually prequalified. Since then they constantly send me pre qualified offers in the mail. So I bet we both were affected by their system that wasn’t functioning at the time.

Most likely you would have to reapply as mentioned above but I do find that interesting.
