Yes, you can request it, but getting it depends on your credit profile.

I believe CLI's not by invitation (eMail or USPS) are HP.

I received my first offer at just over the 1 year mark and receive one about once a year to year and a half.

Not large increases but they do come every now and then.

Some have requested CLI's, HP and received good increases, (YMMV), or just be patient !

I requested one @ the 6 month mark for my platinum and it was all but instantly approved. They doubled the limit so I was hopeful they would do the same for the cash+ and I was shot down.
I’ve had the cash + for 5 months and run 1.5k - 2k a month through it just for bills. The platinum I haven’t used since July. USB is a strange one but I like them. You definitely won’t know unless you try. I’d definitely say give it a try on your 6 month anniversary especially if you have been showing some love to the card.

Heavy use & large payments always triggered auto CLI for me.

There is a link in your account allowing you to ask for CLI. It contains HP language.
I used it and got SP increase, though some members got HP, so I'd imagine it's profile specific if you get HP or not.

If you feel that your use justifies the CLI, go for it. It's just a single HP.

To piggyback on this, it seems that 6 months has some signficance with SP vs HP, but that hasn't been fully fleshed out yet.

At the 6 month mark on the platinum I requested and got a SP cli, my cash plus is / was at the 5 month mark (wasn’t thinking) and I was immediately popped with a hp for it and the cash plus definitely sees more use than the platinum.

That's not how pulls work for companies you already do business with. They can HP you even if your reports are locked.

I received auto CLIs on both of my cards with the 9th statement. 6 months later I got a $5k SP CLI on my Cash+. I’ll try my Altitude in 6 months as well which will make it about 18 months old.

Don’t expect to sprint with US Bank, it’s a marathon there for sure. That said, they’re an absolutely fantastic FI, IMHO.
