If you want Chase, you should wait til next month and apply but if you're approved, no more apps for 6 months unless you want to risk losing that account.

App sprees are not advisable these days. Banks aren't really putting up with that behavior.

With that said, Capital One would likely give you a card, so would AMEX, check the prequals for those two. PayPal approval seems like a good shot also Apple Card.

Ducks, BoA, and Wells Fargo I'm not as optimistic about your chances on.

Also keep in mind that Capital One isn't currently allowing PCs to Savor cards, even if you already have one so if you get the Savor for the SUB, it's possible they won't let you PC to SavorOne next year.

If you are intent on spreeing regardless, my recommendation would be to try Chase first and if you're approved, stop there. If not, go for Capital One, then PayPal, and then AMEX (pick between Delta or BCE but if you don't have a prequal for any AMEX revolvers, Delta is probably the safer bet).

I then got the Discover It Student card. I am also 19 years old, so my credit history is thin. I want to apply to a card that is easy to get because I don’t want to get rejected.

I’m interested in an App-o-Rama because I want to start building my long term credit background as soon as possible with no annual fee credit cards. Which cards would be the easiest to get in a short period of time?

Have you checked cap1 preapprovals on their site? They tend to be lenient with thin/young. I think Amex let's you check for preapprovals as well. No harm in checking.

You should probably wait until your first card hits 1yr tho for better odds

I'm gonna guess you're a Student since that is what the Discover is. Also, how long have you been an AU on BoA?

Based on your thin file I'm not completely sure you'd have success with Chase.

Not knowing your spend, or what rewards structure you would like. It's tough to recommend the right cards to fit someone.

That said, I don't feel you would go wrong with BCE or ED from Amex. If you can mange 20 swipes per month for the 20% bonus, it's a nice MR multiplier. If your main category is grocery, and like cash, BCE would work well. Just so long as the place you shop codes as such.

Airline card should be researched to find out if it's worth while long term, past teh 70K miles.

A lot of good cards listed, but again it's all dependant upon you specific spend. And on what it is that you want from said card, cash, miles, or points. Sometimes it doesn't pay to spread yourself out into too many eco systems, but focus on 1-2 that offer you the best return.

I think I've only seen DPs for people with at least two cards in their profile past 1 year. Anything else has always been hit or miss, a couple outliers maybe. Also, their only card being a Student card? IDK if that matters or not compared to the regular Discover It.

With Chase I always like to error on the side of caution. And waiting a little longer has never hurt anyone, has it?

Waiting doesn't hurt, no. But 5/24 does. If it was me I would be willing to burn an inquiry (likely two because it's Chase) to find out. There have been some who bank with Chase that their first credit card was Freedom so they're not totally averse to thin files, they're averse to risky ones. A student card in and of itself isn't a bad thing. In fact they have a student version of Freedom - https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/freedom/student

Remember..... slow and steady wins the race. This is a marathon and not a sprint. So, I would take one of the Amex cards, I believe you said you prequalified for two of them, use it for 3-5 months, and let it report.

Then move to a second card, perhaps go with Chase at that time, but I might suggest going into a branch, opening a checking account and applying simultaneously. I'm not 100 % sure if it makes a difference, but I do believe it helps...
I would stay away from Cap 1, now, though you may get approved I believe there's no need for a triple pull so early with a thin file.......
