Hi! I was wondering what cards you think I'd have a chance of getting approved for. Current scores

Experian: 711

Equifax: 710

TransUnion: 719

I have an alright credit history because I've had student loans since 2017 (5, not too big, and I just started making payments on them since the grace period ended.)

I have the following cards: Apple Card (CL: $2,500), AMEX Everyday Card (CL: $1,500), Best Buy VISA Gold (CL: $500) and PayPal Credit (CL: $500). All were gotten in the last few months.

I honestly just want recommendations on what you think I can qualify for! Trying to get some decent cash back possibly, and also trying to have more available credit to help utilization. Open to retail cards, anything decent.

I've been great with the cards I have! Have always made on time payments and typically good at keeping utilization at 30% if not 0% before it shows up on my statement. Got my score from 660's to 700's in just a few months.

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to the forums.

You have good scores and good cards.

Not what you want to read but think about gardening. Meaning, no applications for a spell, maybe 6 months to a 1 year due to your newly obtained cards.

Purpose is to strengthen your credit profile. Thus, improving your odds at approval, higher credit limit, lower APR, and to get better cash back, points, travel rewards card.

In the meantime, hang out and read all you can. You'll learn a lot here during your down time. It'll allow you to formulate a game plan when you are ready to apply.

Look into getting soft pull CLI Credit Limit Increase on your current cards.

Good decision to follow @AllZero's advice. gardening stinks sometimes but as time passes it does get easier. My last app was four months ago today and I'm not jonesing anymore lol. Gardening is perhaps the most underrated tool in your arsenal. Your cards are solid, so letting everything age while you work on limit growth is a great idea, and as stated above, will help when you look to add new cards in the future.
