It seems those pop up offers before checkout are marketing offers. How many inquiries do you have and where are you getting your scores?

You've been advised multiple times to wait a year in your other threads. You got so frustrated that you took a break from credit. If you get denied, it's only going to increase your frustration and push you further back in your build. Best to leave it alone imo.

Waiting is best, also when its time to apply you can see if BofA cash rewards is a better fit as it will offer you 3% cash back on not only amazon but all online shopping, you can also choose another category instead such as gas / dinning depending on your spend, the card also has $200 sign up bonus.

I'm not sure what the aversion to Discover is, (acceptance?) but by now your Discover would have unsecured. Also you can immediately switch to the 5% category card after the first statement. You would be earning 10% (because of the first year match) cash back in rotating categories. It really is the perfect credit building card. Nothing comes close.

I Love my Discover 10% cash back on rotating categories the first year.

10% cash back on groceries or gas. I will take that everyday, anyday.

I can't wait until next year when I can pick my second Discover card, probably the gas and restaurant cash back.
