Does Chase's pre Approvals are a SP or HP? I always look and saw one for the first time.

Using the Chase's prequal tool is always a SP until you apply or accept an offer than it would be a HP. Good luck!

Any preapproval will be SP, either by you checking for offers yourself, or lender giving you an offer based on your CR and/or existing relationship

Most of the time those offers will result in HP when you initially apply.

A few lenders may extend additional cards with a SP, but in general, expect a HP when applying for credit/loans etc

Chase will typically pull TU along with another CR when responding to "offers" from Credit Journey.

If your "offer" is in an existing Chase account, it can be a single pull, or combination of any two CRAs.

experian was hp when i applied for chase freedom the other week.

equifax later showed hp a day after my application.

when i received the card, the credit score they had with the papers was my equifax score.

Yep....any actual approval for a credit card comes with a hard pull. I don't know of any credit cards where you can get approval with a soft pull. You can get credit limit increases with a soft pull.

Chase is tired of me LOL. I probably won't get any offers, whatsoever, from Chase. Even though I paid my Chase mortgage entirely without any lates. I over-utilized their cards.

Not all new CC's, as Remedios said, are a HP. Amex core and PenFed are examples that, under certain circumstances/with an invite, can SP a new CC to be issued. Chase, however, always anticipate a HP, even for CLI requests.

A lot of people never get offers and yet they have no problems getting approved.

You paid Chase, they have no reason to be unhappy with you. Lender's "view" of customers is not static, it changes as our situations change.

Yesterday you might not have been an ideal customer, you're in much better place now.

Give it a billing cycle or two, than see if they have anything new you're interested in or ask for CLI if your use of their cards justifies the request.

Amex will issue new cards for existing cardmembers via SP. Chase, definitely does not.

Was it ur fico 8 Equifax or ur Fico 8 credit card score 8?
