TD Bank Denied - Recon?

So I applied for TD Bank First Class Visa Sig

I called the application line and I was denied... Not sure why.

They pulled Experian which my Fico Score is at 750, 20% Utilizatioon, 2 inquiries, NO Negatives. AAoA about 3 years.
Only 1 account opened in the last 3 years.

I called the recon line and the rep told me they would submit it for reconsideration and take a look at it. Said I can call back within 2-3 business days...

Anyone have experience with TD Recon? Any success?

Yeah, hard pull on Experian. I live in NY.

Reconsiderations are iffy with TD Bank as they tend to be somewhat conservative. Without knowing the overall data associated with your profile and the actual reasons for denial it's hard to say what your chances will be.

There was a member a while back who was not approved and the reconsideration resulted in a $500 approval. So, YEMV on this one.

In addition to what was noted earlier w/r/t their conservative lending nature, TD Bank seems to prefer to have an existing deposit account relationship with applicants. Good luck with the recon!
