Anyone heard of this company got a pre approval offer for a double your credit line visa just wondering if I should pull the trigger I'm trying very hard to garden given I have an inquiry or two more then the average

What other cards (with limits) do you have and what are your scores?

Merrick Bank is a subprime lender. That particular card has no rewards, a very high APR, and often an annual fee. MB can be okay if you're just starting a rebuild, but generally not worth considering if you can get a Capital One or Discover card.

I currently have a dell preferred card a credit one card and a possible recon review for a synchrony back card so I got a pretty solid line up

For those interested I have a credit karma score of 618 Eq 609TU and Experian.com credit score of 571 so I got pretty solid scores as well but as was mentioned I have an inquiry or two in excess.

So after recieving an offer in the mail for a double your CL credit card a Visa! I decided to pull the trigger applied and got a 7-10 day message is this an approval or Will I need to send in some docs anyone got a back door number?

Just FYI - these aren't solid scores. With your CreditOne, Dell, and new Synchrony, I would have advised you wait for 12 months or so before trying for new credit and work a little further on your rebuild.

This is normal for Merrick, I applied last year and had the same result. A week went by and I never heard anything so I called and they said I was approved.

Although Credit Karma and other third party sites are great for monitoring the information on your reports, scores from CK are VantageScores, so pay no mind to them as a majority of lenders use Fico scores to determine your creditworthiness. Thus, one of your true scores would be the one you provided from the Experian website. Good luck with your application and keep us posted!

Just to update the community I recieved notic that I was APROVED!!!!! You heard it right APPROVED FOR A MASSIVE 700$ visa credit limit and double that after 6 months of on time payment!!!!
