Amex additional cards.

Hi,

I already have an Amex card and if I use a new computer/IP adress with a incognito browser to get a higher SUB.

I would not be logged into my amex account.

When I app for the second Amex card will it still be a SP or HP?

Should be a SP but YMMV as always. They'll know you're a customer when you submit your SSN on the application and match it with what they already have on file

Last month, just befor all the Coronavirus crazieness started, i applied for the amex platnum incognito to get the higher sub. Already had the bce. It was a sp.

I will always say Amex is ymmv because with the myth that all subsequent applications are sp , once a member, my personal experience shows otherwise. Back to back hps despite previous sps and account history. Best way is to prepare for a hp and be happy if its sp

I will do an app for the gold delta in a few days before the sub goes done.

I figure if it isn't an instant approval (meaning it probably goes to manual UW) I will throw caution to the wind and app the Gold.

I figure if i am going to get an HP i will use the one HP twice in the 24 hr period. I might wait to see if I get any HP alarms first.
