Citi bank offer for 2 cards

I was approved for the duble cash card with 5k 3 days ago from a mailer offer

today I get another mail offer for the diamond preferred card

does this mean I'll get approved ?

or they don't slope more than in card in time frame ?

I think citi still has the policy of minimum 8 days between approvals.

Mailers are weeks behind as it takes time to get them printed and mailed so you may or may not be able to get a second card.

Months, even. I was still getting same mailers from Citi two months after approval, and they seem to have stopped for now.
