Synchrony Paypal mastercard Application name with out initial max credit line at this time.

I started to apply for the Paypal mastercard yesterday and after login to paypal auto fill in showed my name first and last but did not have my initial was left out Could that be a problem to be approved for the card and what kind of cl's are be given at this time. My score is over 800 total cl is 190K ul is then 1 percent at this time.

Synchrony doesn't require initials. It's an optional field on all of their apps that I have seen.

Credit limits right now are a total crapshoot with Sync. Some people with excellent credit have been disappointed with their limits. Even seen a few Amazon cards at $150! Card should pop up on Experian pretty quick if approved and you'll know your limit at that point.

Did you recieve this offer? If you did, use the link to apply in order to get the 4% CB offer. Very enticing!! Just got this email yesterday.

I'd use this one to pay my mortgage through Plastiq for 3 months and pocket $60 after the fees.

I'm not sure how you get the link. Do you already have a PayPal account?

I've been receiving emails from them on and off for a year or so.

Haven't taken them up on the offer to apply for it as yet.

This is the first one I've seen with the 4% CB for 90 days.

I currently have the PayPal line of credit with an active 24 months 0% promotion on it. Not sure if that brought on this offer or not.

your middle initial missing won't make a difference. i used to work for synchrony and i would to see card approvals with the names completely wrong. (first name and last name switched, middle name used instead of first name, pretty much everything you could think of) good luck on this application!

Depends on your spend. For all around non-category spend. The PayPal MC would be my choice.

The Marvel card is good for restaurants, entertainment stuff like movie theatres and amusement parks.

I've used the Marvel for places like Disney world. It does give 3% cash back. I like that the credits are automatically applied to the bill.

You don't have to keep up with them or go in and manually redeem.

FWIW, the Marvel UWs are more conservative than others I've dealt with. Such as Lowes, Walmart, Care credit and PayPal.

But less conservative than the Amazon Synchrony UWs

Marvel won't approve more than $2K to start with so that's a downside and it's usually 6 months before Sync gives CLIs on their majors. I do like the Marvel card though if only just for the fact that unlike PayPal, it has transaction notifications (both email and text).

Could you please give some data points for approval of 8300 credit line, such as Fico scores and income. where did offer show up by email or in the PayPal app.
