Applied for Chase Freedom and got letter to send address verification

I recently applied to Chase Freedom card after I moved to the new state. Now, I got a letter asking to fax physical location proof. I didn't had any address proof except rental agreement. So, I went to the near chase bank and they told me that I need utility bill for a address proof and advised to re-apply after getting address proof.

So, my main question is when should I apply for chase freedom again? Can I apply after a month?

Was it more than 30 days ago you applied for the Freedom? I would call and see if you can submit your rental agreement. It could very well be the case of the banker not knowing you could submit other forms of verification.

Rental/Lease agreement

Mortgage

Did you register to vote? The confirmation there puts in your address.

Call the reconsideration line and verify over the phone.

Thanks, everyone. I did exactly what you said, and yes the banker didn't know that and the guy on reconsideration said that rental agreement is accepted.

Finally, I submitted the address proof and waiting for the application results.

Ask the banker again and see if they can reuse the same pull(s)

UPDATE: I finally got approved for Chase Freedom Card with the 2500 CL. I'm very happy about that. Thanks all for helping.

But, I've got other questions. There's 5% cash back for grocery on Freedom which was added recently after I applied for it. So, when I went through the chase app, I couldn't find 5% for grocery, so does it make sense to contact chase for that bouns. I don't think I'll get it anyway, but I was just wondering if I should do it or not ?

I've read data points that those who applied in June or later are able to get Chase to retroactively apply the bonus promotion. You can additionally do this by secure message. Good luck OP.

Doctor of Credit shows some DPs that this can apply retroactively to accounts opened since June 1st if you call or send a secure message, with any groceries purchased since the account opening being included. I sent a SM over the weekend myself and I am still waiting for a reply, but the initial reply said it could take a week or more for a response. I applied for mine on 7/17, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for this to be extended to me as well.
