Discover Secured (Pending) Help - Update: Approved!

I believe I applied for this with a pre-approval link on 10/05. I was asked to provide banking information then it went to verification through chat. Uploaded SSN and DL as directed and rep confirmed receipt. But every day since I get a Discover email "Your Application is Still Pending" then check the app status link and get the below message.

I did call 10/09 to verify nothing else was needed and the rep said it was still processing. No money has been taken out of my account yet so I'm not sure if this is a normal wait time with Discover or maybe I'm about to get a denial letter in the mail. Thoughts?

It's normal to take around 2 weeks for the secured to be approved and to get the card in your hand. Basically, watch your checking account. Once the money is removed (took about 10 days for me), you've been approved and the card should be along shortly.

@M_Smart007 Discover called! Woohoo! Said she needed to call me on the number from my application to confirm, then said it was approved. Money should be taken out within 2-3 days and card will arrive within two weeks.
