BMO application status help

Hello all. So I'm told BMO doesnt give credit card application staus over the phone??????...Is this new?......Anyway to get around this..lol...It's killing me to know....lol

UPDATE: DENIED ...UGH.....

OP, are you a current BMO customer? When did you apply? Some institutions, like BMO, are a bit more guarded about releasing such information, so the best thing to do is exercise a bit of patience.

@britt585 - wondering if you were approved or not?? Since this is not your first card with them it should show up in your online account if approved - - that is how I usually found out

Did you receive a letter or were you able to learn about the denial by chatting with an agent?

What reasons did they provide?
