Do you also have a chance to get approved for a second card with Amex even so it doesn't say that there is an offer when you go to the applicationIt just says

Applying to expand your membership with us is

aftet getting first charge card how long after can someone try for a second card ?

You can apply for a revolving card right away and they would generally do a SP (or use the same report if done on the same day). As for another charge card, you would have to wait, although if this is your first card with amex, depending on your credit profile you might want to let it age and provide some good usage. Atleast 3 to 6 months (though some have reported to have been approved for another card it still all vary on many factors)

Was Instantly approved for the blue cash card for $1000

and then I applied for the gold charge cards which I need for groceries

and it was a message that it's in Pogress so I called they put me on hold and then sh said that they need three days a different department deals with it to Evaluate the application?

anyone know if it's a good Sign?

Congrats on getting the Blue Cash approval. I will say, while it doesn't mean that you won't be approved for the Gold card, but the $1k limit may be a sign of the amount of risk Amex is willing to take at the moment. Sometimes you have you read between the lines sorta speak.

But nonetheless, here's to hoping that after evaluation you get the Gold card. I'm sure the 4x on dining and groceries will serve you well. Chime back in if you'd like and let us know if all shakes out in your favor.

You can find amex backdoor numbers at https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Applications/Backdoor-Numbers/td-p/408066 but even if you called they may still say that its under review. Calling wont hurt though.

Update I just Got an email that I was approved for the gold also
I am shocked I have the platinum just over a month
and I am over five years and one month after bankruptcy
I did heavy spending on the card in the last 30 days in the platinum $6000
I guess they like my profile my FICO score experience is 725

For the blue cash that I got approved
if understand I get $300 if I spend $1000
plus 6x on $6000 Grocery it's separate from the $300? If I do right the calculations it's a value of $660?
