Chase Freedom unlimited approved? Kinda?

DW applied for freedom unlimited as I felt like a new card with chase but am 4/24 and want to wait...

went to 7-10... they pulled Ex.... her score is 814... so she called recon, the rep said "I'm putting this in for an approval, I'm sorry about that..."

and then said "I'm putting it into the system to see if it'll let me, then said I put it in for a "medium sized" approval!"

and mentioned that she sees our deposits which are nice and support our joint income..

she hung up and said have a great weekend!

It went over the automated to "30 days"... I have never had this happen usually reps approve right away with limit smh...

DW went to 7-10 days today.... decided to call cause she hates denials...

analyst said it was denied due to exposure at chase by computer

credit analyst reviewed it again, spent 17 mins on hold!!

came back said good news!

17k CFU!

this makes her exposure with chase including AU $141k (86k) by herself
