DCU Data Points Needed!

Approved yesterday for DCU membership. Now I need to know some DP's. It automatically popped up that I'm Pre-Qualified for a $25,000 auto loan. But what I actually need is a Credit Card AND a Personal Loan...

Does DCU offer instant approval on CC's and/or PL's? Like, does it flip to a Congratulations! You've been approved for $XX,XXX...?

They do offer SP pre-approvals. They should all have populated together, but auto may have been only approval. You can go to Loan Center in app, or website, all products that say Apply would be HP for app, anything that says Pre-Approved will be an SP. Just accept the terms.

@blindambition Well, could you help me? Lol It may say Pre-approved for all of them. It has a little paragraph about "if you want to be excluded from prescreened offers call this toll-free number blah blah" then directly below that, it has an auto loan, cc, pl, motorcycle loan, etc... Are these pre-approvals?

If approved, language says You are approved, Accept offer. I believe the approvals are gold, but I'm blind and can't confirm.

The ones that aren't an automatic approval only have language which states Apply Today.

They are yellow/gold. More important, the pre-approved/SP ones will say "Accept Offer" on the button. The ones you'll do a HP for are "Apply Now" on the button.

@iced So even though I just opened my account yesterday, each loan is an additional HP? They don't use same one?

They might in that timeframe, though I would always just assume one application, one pull.

@Anonymous I apped for the cc first and was approved (hp) Then applied for the membership because it is required to get the card ( same hard pull)

Once I logged in to my account it had all the offers that had apply under them ( no pre approvals)

So I applied for the personal loan and was approved. Called customer service to find out some info on what to do next,

and the rep told me they use the same hp for 45 days. But i would just call customer service to find out, dont take my word because things can change any time.

If you have your pin already, it makes finding out info easier they told me, which I did have
